I’m David Powers, a photgrapher based in Los Angeles, California with a focus on fashion, e-commerce, product photography, beauty photography, food photography, hospitality and beverage photography. I make photos and videos for a wide range of industries in the commercial photography space, and serve the greater Los Angeles area with a focus on local, regional, and national service as well. Though I reside in Highland Park, I also offer photography services across the city, from Santa Monica to Atwater Village, to Silverlake and Echo Park. I also am available for travel to any major city, most preferably San Francisco and New York City for photography projects and brand work.
In the course of my photography journey, I’ve learned to recognize the needs of brands both big and small, serving CMO’s, marketing directors, art directors, brand managers, and brand owners. I love collaborating with creative directors and art directors whose taste aligns with my own, and fully believe in the power of a unified team to accomplish a creative vision. As no creative work exists within a vacuum, I am at my most empowered as a creative when I am working with brands who are aligned with my own personal and professional approach; one of questioning, curiosity, and a hint of nostalgia.
